Open education is alive and active at the UVA Library, and a new grant will enable the creation of a community hub for sharing resources. Additionally, in spring 2025, the learning community welcomes new members who want to utilize open educational resources at UVA and beyond.

HathiTrust elects Carmelita Pickett to Board of Governors

We are pleased to announce that Carmelita Pickett, Associate University Librarian for Scholarly Resources and Content Strategy at UVA Library, has been elected to a three-year term with the HathiTrust Board of Governors. HathiTrust is a collaborative of academic and research libraries which seeks to protect and expand access to library materials.
